Apiculture Commodity
Mission: To develop the Apiculture sector to ensure increased production of quality products and Services through environmentally sustainable management practices for the benefit of our nation.
Overall objectives: Maintaining healthy hive practices while increasing productivity, and efficiency to enhance the competitiveness of our local Apiculture industry.
Regulatory Mandate: To monitor and protect the Apiculture industry against exotic pests and diseases while monitoring and controlling existing bees pest and diseases in Saint Lucia.
Apiculture Services: To assist the production of quality Hive and hive produces through the generation and transfer of appropriate technology and the promotion of good management practices that are cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

- To enhance requisite knowledge of beekeeping business by equipping beekeepers with current information
