Stakeholder Meeting on Sustainable Sea Moss Farming in Savannes Bay

The Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund (SLUNCF) and the Department of Fisheries (DOF), will be hosting an important stakeholder meeting focused on the sustainable management of sea moss farming in Savannes Bay on September 18, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the DOF Conference Room in Vieux Fort. This event is part of a broader initiative aimed at enhancing the governance and conservation of the Pointe Sable Environmental Protection Area (PSEPA).
This meeting will provide a platform for sea moss farmers and other local stakeholders, as well as other interested parties to come together and discuss key updates on the project, share insights, and explore strategies for sustainable sea moss cultivation.
