Department of Agriculture Steps Towards a Healthier Public Service

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Sustainable Development successfully participated in its Public Service Road Show – Walk with Your Minister on Thursday, June 25, bringing staff together for a morning of wellness, team building and camaraderie.

Beginning at the Greaham Louisy Administrative Building, employees joined the Minister and senior management for a walk through Castries, demonstrating the Ministry’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, workplace wellness and a positive public service culture. Staff proudly wore the Ministry’s signature green, reflecting unity and shared purpose as they engaged in the initiative.

The walk formed part of the wider Public Service Road Show activities aimed at encouraging physical activity, strengthening teamwork and fostering greater interaction among public officers outside the traditional work environment.

The Department extends sincere appreciation to all officers who participated and contributed to the success of the initiative. Together, we continue to build a healthier, stronger and more connected public service while advancing our mission of serving the people of Saint Lucia.
