Enhancing the resilience of our marine ecosystems and coastal communities depend on healthy marine species and their associated ecosystems. However, a variety of complex issues involving many interests, perspectives and stakeholders impact on the sustainable management of Saint Lucia’s marine resources.  To meet these challenges, we employ broad science-based, interdisciplinary approaches for the sustainable utilization, and equitable and orderly access to marine living resources through improved management and regulation.
