Fusarium Wilt TR4 Awareness Activity

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Rural Development continues its awareness and sensitization drive.   The objective is to inform and educate stakeholders about Fusarium Wilt Tropical Race 4 (TR4) while protecting livelihoods and safeguarding food security. This meeting was carried out at the Orchid Gardens, as part of the ongoing TR4 awareness activities island-wide with various stakeholders on Thursday 24 August 2023.

The participants at this meeting involved both farmers from Babaoneau and surrounding areas and some of the employees of the Plant Propagation Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture. Overall the presentation was well received and stimulated heightened interaction.
