Lobster Fishery Closure 2024

The Department of Fisheries reminds all lobster purchasers and the general public that the Lobster fishery will close on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

As we approach the closed season, the Department urges all purchasers to actively monitor their stock and to utilise any remaining lobsters or lobster meat by February 28, 2024.

Be further reminded that ALL establishments must submit a Lobster Declaration Form to declare lobster purchases and stock to the Department of Fisheries by Friday March 8, 2024. Please be guided accordingly.
