School Agriculture
- Assisted 8 primary schools and 2 secondary schools with their school gardening
- Establishment of ¼ acre plot orchard at Vieux-Fort Comprehensive Secondary. Fruit trees such as mangoes, 3 different varieties, cherry guava, cashew, citrus, coconut
- Lectures and video presentation to schools
- 100 students for work experience
- Vegetable samplings sessions with 3 primary schools
- Garden completion with primary schools
Dasheen Production – Control of taro-blight
- Conducted 3 workshops
- Establishment of 4 demonstration plots and 2 farmers field schools
Introduction of resistant varieties
Sweet potato production- control of sweet potato weevil and stem blight
- Establishments of two demo plots and 2 farmer field school
- Conducted 2 workshops
Cocoa production
- Established about 12 acres of cocoa
- Conducted 1 workshop

- Height management in Breadfruit production

- Use of organic chemicals in vegetable production
- Use of small machinery for land preparation
- Care and maintenance of water pumps
Outreach Programme
- Establishment of kitchen garden and lecture in the following areas; Vieux-fort, Augier. Laborie, Belle Vue, Black Bay
- Lectures and video presentations on Back Yard gardening with the following Health centers; Grace, Vieux-fort , Laborie and Belle Vue
- Donation of Fresh fruits and vegetables to the Rainbow Children Center in Aupicon
- Donation of fresh fruits and vegetables to Comfort Bay ( Home for the Elderly)
ON GOING PROJECT
Vegetable Production
- Workshop on the following
- Pest and disease management and plant nutrition 20 farmer participants
- Use of organic chemicals and pesticide use and safety, 28 farmers participated
- Crop monitoring using IFARM APP
Breadfruit Height Management
32 farmers participated

Climate Smart Workshop
Workshop was conducted and 30 farmers participated
Rootcrop Production
- Dasheen Production( Control of Taro Blight) – Presently two demonstration has been established
- 2 field trips will be planned where 50 farmers will be trained on Control of Taro Blight
Cush Cush production
- 1 Demo plot has been established
- 2 field trips will be planned to train 15 farmers on control of nematodes and weevil
Sweet potato production
- 2 demonstration plot will be established to train 40 farmers on control of sweet potato weevil and root crop
Cocoa production
- To establish 15 acres of cocoa. Presently 5 acres have been established. One workshop will be planned to train farmers in Agronomic practices and pruning demonstration will be carried out
School Agriculture
- Assist 8 primary schools, 2 secondary schools in school garden
- Two field tours in agriculture
- One symposium on protecting the environment and sustainable Eco system
Introduction to New Technology
- Use of drip irrigation, ground cover, plastic mulch , setting up of fertigation system
Pineapple Production
- Field Tour was conducted-19 farmers and two students participated
- Topic: Best practices involved in pineapple production
Compost Making
- One demonstration was conducted and 22 farmers trained in compost making
